  	Pecten albicans (Schröter, 1802) flat upper (left valve) less convex right (lower) valve
  	Pecten excavatus Anton, 1838 concave or arched inwards upper (left) valve very convex right (lower) valve with about 18 roundish primary ribs and secondary radial grooves on the ribs about 60-90 mm in height
  	Pecten waikikius Dall, Bartsch & Rehder, 1938 concave upper (left) valve very convex right (lower) valve, 11-13 primary ribs are less defined and the secondary radial grooves are more developed only found from Hawaii about 40-50 mm in height
